Add a shipping address or gift delivery instructions

Use your list's Gift delivery setting to tell gift buyers how you would like to receive gifts. GiftList never ships gifts or places orders: buyers order from the store and type the address into the store's checkout themselves.

Who can see your address

Anyone who can open your list can see its delivery details, including a shipping address. That means anyone with the list link, not only your friends or followers. Delivery details are hidden only when:

• the list has a Password protect password and the visitor has not entered it, or
• People can reserve items is turned off for the list.

Show on my profile and in Groups does not hide delivery details from someone who has the link. If your list is shared widely or shown to Everyone, consider adding a list password, or choose Custom instructions instead of a home address, such as "Message me for my address" or "Bring gifts to the party". Update your list

1. Sign in and open the list you own.
2. Open Settings (in the app, the list menu's List settings) and find Gift delivery.
3. Choose Ship gifts to me and enter a complete shipping address, or choose Custom instructions and type how buyers should get the gift to you. Some app versions label the first option Ship to my address, and some web versions label the second I'll arrange delivery.
4. Choose Save, then open the list's shared link in a signed-out browser to check what buyers see.

Check apartment numbers and postal codes. Custom instructions are free text, so you can ask buyers to contact you, bring gifts in person or ship somewhere else.

What gift buyers should do

The delivery details appear when a buyer opens the gift to buy it, with a button to copy the address. They still need to enter that address at the retailer's checkout; GiftList cannot fill in a store's checkout for them, and a store may pre-fill the buyer's own saved address instead. If no address appears, the owner may have chosen custom instructions or turned delivery details off. Ask the owner before checking out.

You can ship a gift to yourself or another address if you plan to hand it over; the list's address is the owner's request, not a requirement. A list address is not a shipping label, dispatch confirmation or tracking update. If the owner changes it after you ordered, contact the retailer about changing the order.
