Organize a virtual group gift exchange and invite friends and family

  • Set a gift budget, RSVP deadline, and gift exchange date
  • Invite at least 3 participants. Track RSVP statuses.
  • Group message gift exchange participants at any time.

Complete your exchange check list and we’ll handle the logistics.

  • RSVP before the dealine and set your your gift delivery preferences.
  • Add items to your wish list from any site, browse the GiftList Shop for ideas, or download our desktop extensions to add gifts while browsing your favorite sites.
  • We’ll do the matching. Each participant will be matched with someone else in the group and will need to send a gift before the exchange date.

Reveal gifts and gift givers. Send thank you notes.

  • Can you guess who your Secret Santa was? Gifts and gift givers are revealed on the gift exchange date.
  • Easily transfer items you did not receive on your wish list to another gift list.
  • Send thank you notes using our customer email templates. Be sure to attach a picture of you and your gift.

You do not need to create an account to view a gift list shared by someone else and reserve an item. You can also broswe our Shop for gift ideas or send free e-cards without an account. You will need an account to take advantage of many of our other features including creating a gift list, participating in group gift exchange, tracking special occasions, and managing your gift history.

Group gift exchanges function similarly to a Secret Santa gift exchange. An organizer creates the gift exchange event, sets dates to draw gift givers and exchange gifts, and provides a recommended gift budget. We recommend that each participant add at least 3 items to their wish list as suggestions for their gift giver. After the RSVP date, participants are randomly assigned to buy a gift for someone else in the group. Gifts and gift givers are revealed on the gift exchange date.

GiftList is a universal gift registry. Unlike an Amazon wish list, you can add products from any site simply by pasting any url and then we'll fetch the item details and add them to your list. You can also check out our Shop for gift ideas and add items to your list with a click or add gifts to your list while browsing the web with our "Add to GiftList Button" desktop extension.

Anyone with an email address can participate! Organizers can invite friends and family to a group gift exchange via email. Participants must accept their invitation and create an account before the RSVP deadline to participate in a GiftList group gift exchange.
